DESOLATION

In the end we are all alone...
and no one is coming to save us.

About Desolation:

Technician One-Four-Six is dispatched to a remote relay station. The station has gone dark, and his job is to investigate the station and bring it back online. On arrival things immediately take a turn for the worse. The docking bay he has just landed in starts venting atmosphere and loses artificial gravity. He must adapt to the situation by using his suits oxygen supply to propel him to safety and enter the station.

Once inside he finds the station’s communications systems completely offline. A stranger manages to contact him over a remote security system and informs him they have been sending a distress call for days. Before he can gather any more information the stranger has to leave and opens a hatch in the floor that leads deeper into the station.

Unfortunately for Technician 146 he is ill prepared for what awaits him in the stations interior. The stations systems are working intermittently as power is being rerouted to other sections of the station. This presents many problems beginning with the lack of Oxygen, unreliable lighting, dangerous environments, and an evil presence stalking his every move. If he has any hope of escaping he must keep moving deeper into the station no matter the cost, because with his limited supply of Oxygen he’s going to die either way.

The Characters:

Technician 143

Technician
One-Four-Six

Just your ordinary blue-collar worker. He is good at his job, but doesn’t try to excel at anything. He’s intelligent and very selective with what garners his attention and effort. All he wants is to put in a day’s work, that passes quickly, and come home to immerse himself in the latest gaming fad.
